  • Strategies and tips that family advocates need to incorporate in terms of organization and documentation

  • Rules, rights, and responsibility

  • Where to turn for assistance when those rights are in question

  • Types of advocacy and how they are different (Individuals, Systems, Special Education, Legislative)

  • How to craft a message or story and how to ensure it is heard

  • Systems of supports and networks for families
